Art supplies and a bookstore!
Sunday, July 15, 2012 • 5:08 PM • 0 comments So my dad is one of the parents that hate driving everywhere too often so I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up a bunch of supplies for my summer assignments! I literally went broke today, my paycheck disappeared in that swift sliding of my debit card, I had to hold tears back at the cash register. I got: - [1] 26 x 36 canvas ($24.99 - $7.50 discount = $17.49) - [1] 22 x 28 foam board ($5.47) - [2] 4B Drawing Pencils ($2.19) - [1] Pencil Sharpener ($1.47) - [5] Oil Paint Tubes ($34.95) - [1] Mineral Spirits Bottle ($7.99) - [1] Jar ($1.99) So simply to say, I went broke. Afterwards though, I walked next door to the bookstore which had a café as well. I laid my stuff down and asked the really really nice cashier to watch all my junk I had just purchased and then went to go look at books and stuff. So in exchange for her being nice enough to watch my large pile of junk as I ditched all of it, I bought a peanut butter cookie and a mocha frappe. WHICH I WILL NOT LIE, WAS HEAVENLY TASTING. Either way though, I spent the hour at the store reading Haruki Murakami's After Dark which was decent from what I had gotten to read in that hour. It was much shorter than the other books, which is why I didn't pay for the $14 it cost and got The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, also by Haruki Murakami, instead. |
