Lensvillage Review!

So it's taken me a while to get onto this review because I had to get Anthony to drive me to the post office to fetch my package, and because I've lacked any access to a laptop with Photoshop in general. I've been living on instagram with my phone and iPad. Asides from all that nonsense gibberish, I have a very good review to give! ^^; Let's start from the very beginning, it comes in a flimsy looking paper envelope - I'm okay with that because I'm cheap too. LMFAO I UNDERSTAND. But it's not like because of the flimsy looking envelope, that your lenses and items will come in all bashed up looking, prime thing is it comes double secured with foam wrap and bubble wrap. Not only is it safe, you get to pop bubble wrap, holla. Booey popped my bubble wrap when I wasn't paying attention though ;-; ![]() The lenses all come with a free case (I bought 3 extra though LAL.) I got the Bear, Pig and Hippo lenses; organized by color shades. Yellow = shade of brown, Green = shade of green, Purple = shade of Pink. This is how I'm using them to remember which contacts are where instead of opening all of them all the time. In the three (taken from my instagram @dinovicks) the green and purple ones are the ones I ordered from Lensvillage! The Max Pure Brown lenses are my old pair that I'm replacing with these two ^^; I give them a 10 for giving me such cute cases for free with my purchase though.
Lets start off with the Princess Nudy Mint Green lenses, I have prescription contacts as you can tell by the tops. The cases seem very secure and the tops seemed easy to pop off like other typical contact lens bottles. ^^; They have a legitimate expiration date put on the side to know when to use them by and they last the typical 6 months to a year varying on how often you wear them and how you take care of them.
Style: (★★★★★) I'm not a very outgoing person when it comes to colored contacts ><" I don't like them too bright of a pop, so this shade of green is very nice for someone like me. It's not that lime green but it's not too dark where it looks like a whole different color either! I'd recommend it simply for the nice color and blend it displays. Enlargement: (★★★★★) Okay maybe this is because I have small irises but it does enlarge quite well, right? It gives a big pop like its supposed to, I really don't know how else to describe it... I think the picture does quite well. Comfort: (★★★★☆) It's not the most pleasant at first, maybe its because my eyes are a tad sensitive than others. Nonetheless, it takes a while to get used to it. It took me two days to wear them to stop feeling weird with them on. Would you recommend them to me? Yes, I would if you're looking for a nice and simple color to wear around casually. ---------------- Next would be the Puffy 3 tone Purple lenses! I love this pair because it's so cute, I've grown to love it so much! It's natural because it has THREE tones to it, it blends in with the purple and if you're a brown-eyed girl like I am, it doesn't make that pupil-iris-lens gap so awkward. Style: (★★★★★) Okay yes I saved this one for last because I'm going to go on a super long ramble on how much I love these lenses. The color is almost fantastic. It's a little bit extra-purple in the pictures because I took these in my living room with super-lighting when no one was home. In real life, they're quite a subtle lavender. Lisa told me you had to look a little closer to notice the color difference but even so, that's fine with me. Enlargement: (★★★★★) I really like how much they emphasize the eyes, it's not too large to where it's uber creepy but it's enough to make a difference you know? They'd look better with falsies, but Ivy still has my falsies I ordered from Ebay (which I will do another review on later.) Comfort: (★★★★★) Unlike the Mint Green ones, I got adjusted to this one faster than average, I could just wear them right away, and I did. They're comfortable as long as you're not having a bad case of allergies or itchy eyes and stuff, the usual contact stuff. Like I said, maybe it's just me having sensitive eyes when these things happen. Would you recommend them to me? It depends on your taste but coming from me: YES YES YES. ------------
