SPIRIT WEEK RECAP!

Today is my final day having a red/white week as a senior at du

Ahhh so this week is my school's spirit week! We call it Red/White week because it's our ancient rivalry against Louisville Male High School in football and we have this barrel that we fight over. It gets so crazy hyped when this happens every year! We have themes for every single day.
This year it happens to be:

Monday: Costume Day
Tuesday: 'Murka Day
Wednesday: Pajama Day
Thursday: Dooms Day
Friday: Spirit Day [I du(pont)]

So for costume day we basically had NINE Sailor Senshi running around. A lot of them didn't get wigs or gather together their costume the way the sailors really were but whatever we had the costumes together We had sewn each and every one of them with the small help of a leotard. I'll get to that on a separate post when I get a formal photoshoot of all the sailors individually ~ I had received Sailor Mars though, she was my favorite because the long luscious black hair hahahah. You can see my bias eh? Anyways Lisa was Sailor Moon and I managed to get a photo with her at least. Ny was Uranus but she didn't get her blonde wig in time so she just left her hair as was. I also got pictures with everyone else who dressed up, Booey ended up being Totoro, Helen even went as No-Face from Spirited Away and Rebecca was APPPPPPAAAAAAA from Avatar the Last Airbender! The amount of pride I take in my school is ridiculous. Afterschool holds an event we call Ramstock where local student bands and stuff play songs and sing and dance etc. It was amazing but it was also the perfect camwhore opportunity to get everyone. DAY TWO: AMERICA DAY
This is the most patriotic day ever. LOL People came with all sorts of stuff like flags and like flag capes and bandanas and stars EVERYWHERE. It was ridiculous. Zigdon came as the 1% though -.- and like Zac came as South Korea and other people came as the UK and whatnot. I DUNNO. Anyways, I spent the day afterschool working on stuff with Yidi and David and ended up taking Kevin and David home. We had a party in my car and oh my lord my car's battery died and we like ran around for 30 minutes trying to find someone with jump cables before I ended up crying because I didn't have a phone. I DID NOT HAVE A PHONE FOR MOST OF THIS WEEK, KILL ME. (Also David is the sexy blondie we have here LOL)

DAY THREE: PAJAMA DAY
How do I explain this, I didn't go uber camwhore on Pajama day because I wore what I would typically wear on another day LOL. A PLAIN V-NECK AND SWEATPANTS AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY ONLY PHOTO I HAVE OF ME THIS DAY. I stole this from my school's website too because Lisa was creeping on us, so. It was PSAT testing for Juniors and Sophomores so the seniors spent the first half of the day in a study hall. During that time period though, most of the members of the art show gathered to discuss pieces and portfolios and what to do exactly. I can't disclose any information because that would literally ruin the surprise of the senior show, which I will blog about once we have it up! (NOVEMBER 15 BE READY)

DAY FOUR: DOOMS DAY
DERP, I don't know if I really have any photos for this day since I just wore all black with tights and boots. I have a polaroid of me, Tiffany, Hanna and Helen from Instagram but that's actually probably really about it. I have a video of the Burial of the Bulldog though! I mean we didn't really BURY it but we held a funeral. For my readers that aren't from Manual, the bulldog is LMHS's mascot. It sounds like animal cruelty but it really isn't ): The video of the ceremony and highlights of my week will be uploaded on Vimeo! If I get it up in time for you to view it will be at the very end of this very very long post.

DAY FIVE: SPIRIT DAY!
This first photo belongs to Tara Steiden from my school. She's a lovely photographer and I had taken this photo off Redeye (manualredeye.com) and it is quite lovely. I'm nowhere in this because I got stuck in the section nobody wants to be in because nobody cheers which is poop. But yeah meet the senior class of 2013! We had a lovely time WINNING everything. The eating contest (lord thank god I did not do it because I would have died doing those hot wings) and the red/white cheer, and basically everything else. We are such a lovely class. Afterwards was the football game at 7:30 but the tailgate party was around 4:30ish in the back parking lot. I got very lost.... very very very lost. I'm glad I went though because I don't know what it would have been like if I had ended up missing this final game. 24-14, we're keeping that barrel where it belongs. ^^ I'm going to miss all of this. I got to hang around with my friends that I probably won't get to see for a while and people I haven't spoken to for ages. This entirety of the week was great.
