Happy New Years! ❊

Hello love, I'm a tad overdue on the Happy New Years cheering but I'm here!  I wanted to set aside this post to set out my goals for both blogging life & real life (because I can't be living on a blog 24/7 guys) and leave it as a reminder when I get down in the dumps and feel dejected with my bad case of Senioritis and whatnot.  New years is typically the time for us to start anew, but at the same time we must not forget to learn from our mistakes and accomplishments and continue to improve ourselves both physically and as a whole person.  It takes a lot of power to do those things you know?

Things that I felt accomplished about in 2012:

My senior art show - I lost sleep, maybe had a few nervous breakdowns in the gallery but it was a memory I couldn't bear to pass up.  I now have a journal full of supporting comments about my artwork I used to feel so insecure about and people who sincerely love and care for me have written in it.

My new love - I now have a caring & supporting boyfriend who loves me no matter what I hate about myself (except he detests my taste in music) asides from that he is planning on leaving the glorious land of California to move to Evansville, IN and will go from across the country to just two hours away from me.  He also got me a glorious alpaca and squishable panda.  He is the reason I am breathing and able to stand whenever I fall.
My family - after the March incident, my family has been watching their tongues and have become a tad more lenient on me.  It's nice to feel the love they give me for this.  That was the day I really felt the care that felt so empty to me for the past few years.  I had an unthinkable experience I'll never ever forget (unless I gain Alzheimers) and will live with me forever.

Things to improve on after 2012:

My work ethic in school - I have all these brilliant ideas and absolutely no time.  I have 5 art classes, 2 of them being advanced placement and I had a job that took 4/7 days a week of my life, almost no time afterschool and always feeling tired and out of place.  It negatively affected my social abilities and I just felt lonely all the time which is a bad thing for my mental health overall.  I quit my job to work on school and my bosses liked me a lot as an employee so they told me if I ever needed to get a part-time job or something again then just give them a call (awh) and they'd figure something out.  So I'm just going to focus on finishing high school first and then I'll be working for the rest of my life until I'm old ...

-------

So I spent new years with my family and then I went to go trample people with my mom at Dillards because they were having a massive sale but we got there a bit too late and the racks were like a warzone  ( TДT) but I got a few things really cheap so I didn't mind.  What was great though was when we went to Indianapolis to go shopping at the outlet!  I got an id holder from Michael Kors and a bunch of clothes and little things from all the stores there.  PLUS THEY STILL HAD SNOW UP THERE! ❊ All our snow in Louisville has melted already, which is poop.  There's a crop of the snow picture in the circle I made at the top for this post. I just absolutely love the purity of snow, and since we were in the countryside it was mostly untouched except the houses & roads.  Waaaaah, I wouldn't have minded an extra day of winter break but all our snow melted...

I also took my alpaca Nana onto the trip in the car and I napped with her blissfully LOL.  My mom forgot the blankets so I was cold and she made a good makeshift pillow/tummy warmer as we rolled through Indiana.  Martin intends to get me another alpaca as a belated Christmas present so look forward to that post!

Since it's also a new year, I wanted to improve this blog more as a senior & into college life I wanted to associate myself with more affiliates!  If you're interested in swapping banners and or just getting to talk overall (since I like new friends) you can email me at vickiemtang@gmail.com or talking to me on my tumblr (kkanashimi) !

Upcoming posts:
